What is an escape room?

An escape room is a race against time to solve puzzles, find secret combinations, thwart secret works of darkness, and make it home in time for dinner! It offers a challenge of observation, insight, and teamwork. Detectives and adventurers alike will be at home here.

If we are first-time escapists, what should we do first when we enter the room?

We recommend taking a good look around to see what you can find. There may be hidden clues, codes, and keys to get you started. Once you find a challenge to complete, go down the rabbit hole and see where you go!

Do you accept walk-ins?

We do not guarantee any availability with less than 2 hours notice. We might be available, and we recommend calling us at (385) 477-8352 to find out.

Do you take groups of over 8 people?

For groups of over 8 people, please call us at (385) 477-8352 to set an appointment. We often take groups of up to 20 players and divide them between the Mad Scientist and Lich’s Lair.

What if I’m late?

If a group is 15+ minutes late, it may cause a reduction of time for your group. If you are over 30 minutes late, then depending on circumstances, we may need to cancel your appointment and mark it as a no-show. No-shows will not be refunded.

What if I need to reschedule?

If something comes up and you need to reschedule, you must call 24 hrs in advance. We are happy to work with you to select a time that works better.

You get one reschedule, and rescheduled appointments will not be refunded.

What if we don’t know how many people are coming?

If you book for the minimum number of players, we can take payment for any additional people who join when you arrive. No problem.

Will our booking be private?

Yes, all our bookings are private. We never mix & match strangers. Once you book, the room is entirely yours.

How long is each game?

All of our games are 60 minutes long. Players will be briefed 15 minutes prior to the experience and debriefed after the game.

Are these escape rooms scary?

No. We have no jump scares, no horror, and no actors to frighten people. An unexpected door might startle you, but that’s as far as our scares go.

Will I actually be locked in?

No. We do not lock people in, and if an emergency arises, you can exit through the door anytime.

Are there any other rules we should know about?

Please don’t eat the decorative sand in our basin. It may be course, rough, and irritating, but if you don’t eat it, it’s less likely to get everywhere.

The sand does not grant knowledge, power, or immortality to those who eat it.
